Where Art is Realized

My name is Uzomah Ugwu, and as managing editor and founder, I hope all who come to the site will engage with the conversations of some of the best artists, poets, and writers worldwide.

Arte Realizzata is Italian for art realized. This publication's theme is having the emphasis that like life, art must be realized. This all came together in honor of a lady whom I consider my grandma, and she treated me like her own. Her name was   Millie, and she was Italian. She made life a walking, livable art. This publication is also for my Mother, who taught me from an early age about the beauty of art and literature and that I could be a part of the art that is life. Lastly, this is for another Italian woman who let me consider her my grandma, like Millie, and showed me the art in life through cooking, along with the art in fashion in how she sewed blankets for me. Arte Realizzata is a magazine that explores the poetics of art and art of poetics: A magazine where art and literature can be explored with a focus on visual artists and writers coming together for a conversation about their work. And, of course, for art to be realizzata.
